*In Davie, FL*

*From 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.*

Tu Viện Hương Hải, a Vietnamese Buddhist Monastery in Florida.*

**

This *Plum Village-style Day of Mindfulness (DOM)*, conducted in* English
and Vietnamese*,* *will provide a wonderful opportunity for those who want
to deepen their mindfulness practice with time for reflection and silence in
the tradition of Zen Master Thích Nhẩt Hạnh. Throughout the day, we will
enjoy periods of sitting and walking meditation, chanting, and mindful
movements, as well as Deep Relaxation, a Dharma Talk and Dharma Sharing from
the four-fold Sangha. We will also enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch
lovingly prepared by the monastic and lay Sanghas.* Additionally, there
will be an opportunity for those who wish to formally take the 5 Mindfulness
Trainings to do so at the end of the day. *You are welcome to join us for
dinner afterwards.

**

Please arrive before 8:00 A.M. so you can help the Sangha set up for the
day, relax, and absorb the peaceful beauty of the natural
surroundings. *Please
respect and appreciate Noble Silence during the duration of the formal
activities of the day. *An opportunity for sharing and mindful conversation
will be provided towards the end of the DOM.

*This event is generously provided to you free of charge by the four-fold
Sangha (the community of monastic and lay practitioners). Your generosity in
providing a donation or Dana for the monastic and lay Sanghas is gratefully
accepted and encouraged. Your kind donation helps defray the costs
associated with this DOM and supports the activities of your Sangha. *

*Thích Nhẩt Hạnh*'s CDs, DVDs, books, and Sangha T-Shirts with his
calligraphy will be available during the DOM.

*To register, please e-mail* info at browardlotussangha.org. Directions and a
