*Guided Horseback Ride Along Tradewinds Park Trails*

Come experience the environs of Tradewinds Park in a totally unique way: on
horseback!* *

*ONLY 6 PEOPLE CAN ATTEND AT A TIME!!!!*

*Tradewinds Park *offers unique recreational opportunities in its 627-acres
on the north and south sides of Sample Road. The north side is a farm theme
which includes an educational farm, farm house museum, guided horse trail
rides, pony rides, miles of horse trails, and small fishing lakes. The north
side also features the Florida Live Steamers, a group that operates
miniature steam trains. The south side of the park has many active
recreational activities including; pathways for walking and biking, an
18-hole frisbee disc golf course, and fishing lake with pier. In 2011, a new
softball and soccer complex will open for field rentals and tournaments. The
world’s largest butterfly and bird park, Butterfly World, is also located on
the south side of the Park.  *We will be meeting at the horse stables in the

9:30 AM OR 11:00 AM TRAIL RIDE
PLEASE REMEMBER: THIS EVENT IS ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS, SO
ARRIVE EARLY
*COST:* $30.00 per person for the ride plus park entrance fee of $1.50 per
person (credit cards/cash accepted for trail ride) PAYABLE AT THE PARK
*AGE RESTRICTIONS: Must be over 9 years of age to ride *
*CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS: Must wear closed toe shoes and long pants
recommended *
*PARTICIPANTS LIMITED TO 6 INDIVIDUALS PER SESSION *

*Tradewinds Park *is located on both sides of Sample Road at 3600 W. Sample
Rd. in Coconut Creek, just west of Florida's Turnpike. The park is open
daily from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. *We will be meeting at the horse stables in
the* *NORTH SIDE of the park.*
*From I-95*, exit at Sample Road and go west past the Florida's Turnpike
overpass. The park has entrances on  the north and south sides of Sample
Road.
*From the Florida's Turnpike*, exit at Sample Road. Turn left (west). The
park's entrances are on the north and south sides of Sample Road, west of
the Florida's Turnpike overpass.
*From U.S. 441 *(State Road 7), go east on Sample Road. The park's entrances
are on the north and south sides of Sample Road before the Florida's
Turnpike overpass.
