*Part of a 4**-Day Mindfulness Residential Retreat*

(*Thursday Evening, June 30th – Sunday Evening, July 3rd 2011)*

*China, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tibet, U.S.A.,* and *Vietnam*

Participating organizations include: *Broward Lotus Sangha, ChakraSamvara
Center,** Drepung Loseling Monastery, Florida Buddhist Association, Lotus
Institute for Mindful Living, Tu Vien Huong Hai Monastery, Vietnamese
Buddhist Cultural Center of Florida,* and others.

This Retreat is *open to practitioners of all ages and levels of experience*

and will be conducted in *English* with some *translation* to other
languages.

1. Children’s Group: ages 3-12

2. Youth Group: ages 13-18

3. Adult Group: ages 18 and up

Throughout the weekend, we will benefit from Dharma Teachings, lectures and
detailed instruction on mindfulness practices, as well as periods of
Questions and Answers and Dharma Sharing. Exercises will include Qi Gong,
Tai Ji, Thây Nhat Hanh’s Mindful Movements, and Zen Stick Exercises. We will
also share periods of chanting, sitting, and walking meditation, deep
relaxation, mindful cooking, mindful meals, Dharma Movies and a Bodhi Night
Celebration.

*Activities start daily at 5:00 AM and end at 9:30 PM* (Friday-Sunday). (For
the same registration fee, *You and your family may participate in as many
activities as you like**)*.

   - In order to help defray the costs associated with providing attendees
   beverages, daily vegetarian meals, and retreat space, *the minimum
   donation requested to attend this event is $55.00 for youth and adults* and
   *$45.00 for children under 12*. *Proceeds benefit The Florida Buddhist
   Association*. **

 *In the Buddhist spirit of generosity and inclusiveness, Dharma Teachings
are offered on a* *DANA or voluntary donation basis.  Your generosity in
providing a donation or Dana for the Dharma teachers is gratefully accepted
and encouraged.*

   - * *For those who wish to take full advantage of the retreat and stay
   overnight, *there is a discounted Hotel Fee of $58 per room, per
night*(Check in starts 4 PM Thursday, Check out ends 11 AM Monday).

   - For drivers, the *daily Parking fee is $10 per day*.

   - All daily Vegetarian meals are provided.
