<P class=EC_MsoNormal><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>The <B>Broward Lotus Sangha</B> (<B>BLS</B>) is a meditation group in the tradition of <B>Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh</B>, who was nominated by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for the Nobel Peace Price back in the 60s when they were working together to end the was in Vietnam and promote peace on Earth. <P class=EC_MsoNormal><FONT size=3><FONT color=#000000><FONT face="Times New Roman"><B>We meet the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month from 7:00 to 9:00 PM</B>. The door will be open around 6:30 PM to set up and practitioners should be arriving by 6:45 PM so they can say 'hello', find a comfortable place to sit and relax while listening to the music. Silent meditation starts at 7:00PM. If you arrive after that, please come in quietly. (We will be talking again by about 7:30). Feel free to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes and bring your favorite seating arrangement (some are provided). </FONT></FONT></FONT></P>

<P class=EC_MsoNormal><FONT size=3><FONT color=#000000><FONT face="Times New Roman">At the end of the meditation gathering we usually share some tea and treats and, whenever possible, go out to dinner nearby afterwards.<SPAN> </SPAN><B>In order to be kind to the Earth Mother, please bring your own non-disposable teacup</B> (disposable ones are usually provided by the Sangha).<SPAN> </SPAN></FONT></FONT></FONT></P>
