<div style="TEXT-ALIGN: left" class="gmail_quote"><br><br>Venerable Brother Thich Chan Huong Hue is a Monastic Dharma Teacher who was ordained as a Buddhist monk by Zen Master Thich Nhẩt Hạnh (Thây) in Plum Village, France, in 1992. He is also a monastic ordained member of Thây's Order of Interbeing (Tiep Hien) who currently serves as the Abbott of Tu Viện Hương Hải, a Vietnamese Buddhist Monastery in Florida.<br>
<br>This Plum Village-style Half Day of Mindfulness (DOM), conducted in English and Vietnamese, will provide a wonderful opportunity for those who want to deepen their mindfulness practice and formally take the 5 Mindfulness Trainings in the tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhẩt Hạnh. Throughout this half day, we will enjoy periods of sitting, walking, and chanting meditation, as well as a Dharma Talk and Transmission of the 5 Mindfulness Trainings by Venerable Brother Thich Chan Huong Hue. After the Ceremony, we will enjoy a traditional Vietnamese vegetarian lunch lovingly prepared by the monastic and lay Sanghas. <br>
<br>Please arrive by 10:30 A.M. so you can relax, absorb the peaceful beauty of the natural surroundings, and help the Sangha set up for the day.
