Our Community of Mindful Living has been invited to participate during the
OPENING CEREMONY
for the
JADE BUDDHA INTERFAITH FESTIVAL FOR UNIVERSAL PEACE
this April 10th, 2010 at 9:45 AM

Please bring you Family and Friends (all ages welcome) and join us during
the Opening Ceremony when, together with leaders from other Buddhist,
Christian, Jewish, and Muslim denominations, we will gather to welcome the
community at large with joyful songs of mindfulness practice chanted from
the Heart. *

   - For the delight of children and adults alike, there will also be a
   traditional Vietnamese Dragon Dance and a Flower Ceremony.
   - Children from all denominations are invited create and hang Prayer
   Flags and help the Community release Doves for Peace.
   - Monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery in India will be creating a World
   Peace Sand Mandala.
   - Dharma Teachings and Meditation Classes will be offered as well.

THE JADE BUDDHA WORLD TOUR began in March 2009 in Vietnam, where over 4
million people participated in this celebration designed to Plant The Seeds
For World Peace around the globe. The Jade Buddha World Tour has also
traveled through Australia, is now touring the U.S.A. and Canada and, in May
of 2011, will touring throughout Europe and then back to Asia. Eventually,
The Jade Buddha World Tour will end at the Great Stupa of Universal
Compassion in Melbourne, Australia.
